Alpha Digital is growing and we’re looking for someone with a special mix of business development skills, account management experience, and digital marketing wisdom to help drive our continued success. 

Do you like seeing ideas through to fruition?

You will be the first point of contact for prospective clients who are looking to engage Alpha Digital. With Alpha Digital’s wide breadth of expertise at your fingertips (from paid digital media, to SEO, CRO, content and analytics) and leveraging our established Client Solutions workflow, you will interpret complex client briefs, unpack their challenges, and design digital marketing solutions that will build their brands and businesses. 

You won’t be a lone ranger in this role. You will get to work closely with our Strategy, Digital Performance, and Digital Experience teams to ideate, validate, and design digital marketing campaigns and annual plans that kick our client’s business and marketing goals.

We only put forward solutions that are strategically sound and backed by relevant research and data. You will be able to tap into our team’s expertise and data-led approaches to ensure your ideas are grounded with insight. 

You will also get to provide ongoing support to the clients you bring onboard. Alongside our execution teams, you will work across your portfolio of clients to add a layer of strategic guidance and long-term vision. You’ll often find yourself brainstorming with the rest of the team and diving into client meetings such as monthly reviews, QBR’s, annual planning, and strategy sessions.

You thrive on new business development and achieving your individual revenue growth targets, as well as contributing towards our team and agency ambitions. 

We’re looking for someone who can proactively build our pipeline of new business. Being well connected and networked within the Brisbane media and advertising market, we will be looking to you to create new business opportunities. We can also support you with an active flow of referral and inbound opportunities, as a result of our honest reputation and marketing activity.

You’re going to be responsible for nurturing the prospect, developing and pitching digital marketing solutions, then onboarding new clients. From there, you will work with the execution team (local or interstate) to ensure that the first few months of the client’s experience is nothing short of excellent and that the solution you developed is being delivered to plan. 

This means there will be plenty of opportunity for you to spot cross and upsell opportunities with our existing clients (where it will benefit them). You’ll only ever make sales with our values in mind, and every pitch will be grounded in a genuine growth opportunity for the client.

What are we looking for in you?

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in digital media, social media and/or e-commerce
  • Strong interpersonal and client relationship management skills
  • Negotiation skills and experience working with marketing contracts
  • Experience with turning client briefs into digital marketing plans
  • Knowledge of digital media landscape
  • Knowledge of marketing technology platforms and tech
  • Very strong visual presentation skills
  • Very strong verbal and written communication
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective time management
