Job description:

The Content Creator at Alpha Digital will be skilled at creating beautifully crafted, thumb-stopping social content.

Working closely with some of Australia’s leading retailers and lead-generation clients, you will take the time to understand their business and what makes them unique to develop compelling brand narratives, guidelines, campaigns and content.

Where relevant, you’ll adapt content to suit different platforms and audiences with an impactful, social-first approach.

What does this role involve?

  • Creating high-impact social content using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva and Facebook Ad Builder.
  • Working with clients to understand their business, developing brand guidelines, campaigns and content with an impactful social-first approach and style. 
  • Adapting content supplied by clients for different social platforms.
  • Community management and growth activities across different social platforms.
  • Scheduling of posts across different social platforms.
  • Monthly reporting – showing the results generated from the content you created.
  • Management of product tagging across eCommerce and different social platforms.
  • Working in partnership with our clients in-house marketing teams.

What are we looking for?

  • A strong portfolio, demonstrating conceptual thinking and well-crafted social content.
  • Passionate about design, culture, creativity and social media; you stay on top of the latest internet trends and social best practices.
  • Intuitive understanding of digital and social, and the ability to create engaging visual experiences on different platforms: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitch, Twitter and Tik Tok.
  • 2 years’ experience of content creation with a good understanding of typography and photography.
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and time management.
  • Openness to feedback and a proactive can-do attitude.
  • Obsessed with the internet and can speak only in meme language if needed!!!
  • Natural curiosity and understanding of consumer behaviours and mindset in social.
  • Previous agency experience strongly preferred.
  • Retouching and motion design/animation skills are a strong asset.
  • Photo shoot experience is an asset.
  • Video and podcast experience are an asset.
